From the moment little Seppe Herreman made his presence known to the world on May 13, 1999, it was clear that he was gifted with a powerful voice. A star was born!
At the age of thirteen, he signed up for Belgium’s Got Talent. During the shows, he wowed the jury with his renditions of Christina Aguilera’s hits. After that, Seppe honed his skills in the Vocal Performance program (Light Music/Pop) of the Royal Conservatoire of Ghent (KASK). Seppe made a deliberate choice for pure pop music, drawing inspiration from Miley Cyrus, Justin Timberlake, and Bruno Mars.
In 2019, Seppe rebranded himself as RED SEBASTIAN, under which he aims to inspire the world. RED SEBASTIAN stands for infectious electro-pop and bold vocals.
Early 2025, he participated in Eurosong 2025 (VRT), Belgium’s national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest. During the show, he electrified everyone with his performance of Strobe Lights, winning over both the professional jury and the audience.
Thanks to his victory, he had the honor of representing Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest in Basel—the world’s biggest stage—before an audience of over 150 million viewers.
Just before summer, he surprised everyone with his new single SLAY, an infectious and empowering pop anthem that celebrates pride, individuality, and unity. This year, RED SEBASTIAN is also the voice of Antwerp Pride, with SLAY as its official anthem.
But that’s not where the story ends. He’s far from slowing down. For the first time, RED SEBASTIAN is taking his own live set on tour across various stages, while his album “Turn On The Lights” will be released on September 12th, with a live presentation in the iconic venue Ancienne Belgique in Brussels.
